George Dwight Walker

George Dwight Walker 86 passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was a devoted husband, a loving parent, a lifelong farmer, and one of the very best grandfathers (Grandaddy George/Papa Daddy). He will be remembered throughout his community for his kindness, dedication and willingness to always lend a hand.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne W. Walker of the home, Elaine Jarman, previous wife and mother of his children Aubrey Walker (Tammy) of Pink Hill, Adger Walker (LaMarr) of Kinston, Dawn Dutton (James) of Panama City Beach, FL., and his stepchildren Shannon Womack (Rob) of Raleigh, and Jay Landen of Albertson. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Please join the family for a memorial service at Pink Hill Funeral Home Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Friends and family will be received at all other times at the home of Arnold and Elaine Jarman in Albertson.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Woodland United Methodist Church.
