Betty Frances Baker Skinner
Betty Skinner was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of Wednesday, July 26, 2017. She was born July 27, 1934 and was married to Rendal Hardy "Buster" Skinner for over 50 years until he preceded her in death in 2005. They had two sons, a daughter, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great granddaughters.
Betty is survived by her sons Victor Skinner & wife Penny, Donald Skinner & wife Anne. Her daughter Jennifer Skinner. Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren: Waylon Skinner & wife Megan, their daughters Kyra & Annabelle. Kelly Howard & husband Brian. Steve Skinner. Sara Skinner & fiancé Renado Brown, their daughter Airas Brown. Charles "Scooter" Skinner & wife Katlyn, their daughter Isabelle. Betty is also survived by her sisters Mary Canady, Hazel Taylor & her husband Raeford, Gladis Harrell, Helen Stocks, and her brother Roger Lee.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, Douglas & Gordon Lee, sisters Jeanette Cash & Wendy Brewer, and her brother David Lee.
Betty will always be remembered as a most loving person to all she met. She loved God & her family with all her heart. Her cooking skills were legendary & you never left her home without being fed or feeling loved & special.
Betty will be laid to rest eternally July 27, 2017, on her 83rd Birthday at the Skinner Family Cemetery in Duplin County.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Pink Hill Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017; burial will follow at the Skinner Family Cemetery in Duplin County.
