Kathy j Creech

Kathy j. Creech passed away peacefully on March 25th at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Johnny Bill Jenkins, and cherished mom, Barbara Jenkins. Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her husband, Mike; her sons William Creech and wife Nicole, Patrick Creech and wife Alexandria; and her grandchildren, Aidan Creech, Emery Creech, and Donovan Creech. 

For 36 years, Kathy served with dedication at Vidant Duplin Hospital, retiring last year. She was a “work mom” to many and was known to be the type of person who would always go the extra mile to help others in need. She was a lifelong member of Pink Hill Presbyterian Church, serving on the session and playing the piano for more than 25 years. 

Kathy's unwavering faith and love for her community were evident in everything she did. Her kindness, generosity, and warm smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She lived a life full of purpose and meaning, touching the lives of many with her compassion and spirit. 

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Pink Hill Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral will follow at       2 p.m.  Entombment will be held at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill immediately after the service.
